The draft WSUD Technical Design Guidelines for the Coastal Dry Tropics region (Townsville) have been developed to meet the needs of Council, industry and our community for the promotion of best practice design and construction of WSUD treatment systems.

The guidelines are reflective of the unique climate and soils within our region and are consistent with relevant state and regional planning policies that guide water quality and quantity outcomes in urban areas.

To assist in the development and delivery of the WSUD Technical Design Guidelines for the Coastal Dry Tropics, we would appreciate you taking the time to review the document, which will be open for public consultation until January 15, 2010.
